This holiday season, London Drugs has again partnered with local area charities including Covenant Foundation to give shoppers a chance to support seniors in need.

In early November, residents at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre, St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital, and Youville Home were given the opportunity to construct wishlists of items for inclusion in festive stockings.

Each senior participating will be represented by a tag on a tree in a local London Drugs location. This year, the donation drive aims to present stockings to over 4000 participating residents throughout the greater Edmonton area. While that may seem like an impressive number, the drive started three years ago with a goal of gifting to 40 seniors. That year they gifted 500. The incredible growth since shows the spirit and compassion of London Drugs shoppers to help those in need, or for whom Christmas might be a tough time of year.

Head to your local London Drugs and grab a tag. You'll get information on the first name of your senior and what they've put on their wishlist. Then just get shopping! Once you've purchased your items, your stocking stuffers can dropped off until December 10, 2017 at the London Drugs you picked up your tag at . Volunteers will ensure it gets delivered to seniors at the 3 locations over the following weeks leading up to Christmas.
The results are always impressive, and the generosity of the community in supporting seniors represents the very finest of the season.
