A message from Lisa Munro, our President & CEO
This past year has been extraordinary! Thanks to the dedication of our growing team and the generosity of our supporters, we continue to make a tremendous impact in health care for Albertans through all stages of life in the communities where they live.
You are the reason we were able to invest more than $1.9 million at the 22 Covenant hospitals and continuing care sites we support in 10 communities across the province in 2023-24. Your generosity enabled us to fund specialized equipment, advanced programs, leading-edge research, and enhanced spaces that will serve the changing health needs of Albertans now and in the future. With you, we're innovating health care where it matters most — across our six health priority areas of seniors' health and wellbeing, mental health and addiction, rural health, palliative care, women's and children's health, and spiritual care and mission.
Below, you will find our 2023-24 digital annual report, including a short video from my team. I also invite you to click on the links below the video to read about the important health needs we funded with your support. My team and I hope you will feel inspired by the stories included in this report, which demonstrate the life-changing impact we made together in your community.
On behalf of our board and the entire team, thank you for supporting Covenant Foundation. We feel privileged to have you join us as we drive excellence in health care where you live.
With gratitude,
Lisa Munro, President & CEO

Covenant Foundation respectfully acknowledges that our central office and several foundation-supported Covenant sites are located on Treaty 6 territory and Region 4 of the Métis Nation of Alberta, a traditional land and gathering place of diverse Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway/Saulteaux/Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others. We also support Covenant sites all across Alberta on Treaty 4, 6 and 7 territories as well as the Regions 2, 3 and 4 of the Métis Nation of Alberta. We honour and respect the people whose histories, languages and cultures have been here for thousands of years and continue to influence our vibrant community. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us.
