Rob Cole

Rob Cole is a director of Auka Capital Corp. and a partner in a private waste to energy technology. Rob holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, as well as an MBA in Finance from the Australian Institute of Business. 

With a career that has spanned over 25 years in the finance and wealth management industry, Rob’s current focus is within the capital markets, specifically impact investing. He also helps individuals navigate the complex investment industry and provides advisory services for enterprising family businesses.

Rob believes in giving back to the community and has held roles with the Edmonton Community Foundation, Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, Make a Wish Foundation and NAIT. He has also enjoyed being a part of amateur sports as both a coach and board member.

In addition to his position on the Covenant Foundation Board of Directors and the Foundation’s Audit, Finance and Investment Committee, Rob also serves as a Board Member for the Alberta Social Enterprise Venture Fund and the Alberta Hotel Lodging Association Services Corporation.

Rob’s commitment to stewardship in support of Covenant Foundation is driven by his personal experience with the outstanding palliative care his mom received at a Covenant facility in 2017. Rob’s personal experience combined with his investment background inspires his understanding of how important it is to invest in the health and wellbeing of his community.
