Every Albertan deserves access to high-quality care, no matter where they live. But in many rural communities, healthcare providers have limited access to advanced, hands-on training.
The Rural Mobile Simulation Project helps close that gap by bringing expert-led training directly to Covenant Health teams in rural acute and continuing care sites across Alberta.
The program delivers advanced clinical training tools and facilitators to communities, allowing staff to practice in their own care environments. From everyday situations to emergency scenarios, teams build skills and confidence using life-like mannequins that simulate breathing, heartbeats, and other real responses.
Every minute counts in an emergency. Your support helps expand access to simulation training, empowering rural healthcare teams to further enhance their clinical practice and provide excellent, person-centered care.
