Welcome to St. Joseph’s Home, a site providing a safe, secure supportive living, palliative care, convalescent care and respite care services in Medicine Hat. Its services focus on helping its residents with health and personal care, St. Joseph’s Home was opened by the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus in 1951. The site also includes Carmel Hospice, which opened in 2012. Carmel Hospice focus of care is on achieving comfort, ensuring respect for the person and maximizing quality of life for the patient, family and loved ones.

Thanks to generous donor support and dedicated community partnerships, Covenant Foundation has supported enhance care for patients and their families at St. Joseph’s Home through specialized programs, spaces and equipment since 2016.
