Welcome to Youville Home, a continuing care facility serving approximately 230 seniors in the city of St. Albert. The site combines the original nursing home built in 1963 and a new facility that opened in 2006. The Grey Nuns arrived in St. Albert in 1863, immediately establishing a hospital to serve the needs of the community. In 1941, the Grey Nuns made the care of the elderly their special focus in St. Albert. Since their arrival, more than 400 Grey Nuns have provided over 3,000 combined years of service to the community.

Thanks to generous support from our community and dedicated partnerships, Covenant Foundation has supported Youville Home since 2016 with investments in leading-edge equipment, programs and spaces to enhance care for residents and their families.
