Together, we raise vital funds for 22 Covenant Health, Covenant Care and Covenant Living hospitals and continuing care sites in 10 communities across Alberta. As a Catholic organization, we are committed to serving people of all faiths, cultures and circumstances according to our values of respect, transparency, collaboration, impact, integrity and stewardship.


To maximize your impact, we have established six priority areas that focus philanthropic support where it’s needed most – on health issues facing vulnerable and under-served populations, and on the unmet needs of communities.

We’re proud to support eight Covenant Care continuing care sites across Alberta.

Covenant Care is a Catholic, not-for-profit, registered charity that providesquality accommodations, health and community care services and programs to aging individuals in need. Covenant Care was established in 2013 as a non-profit partner in Alberta’s integrated health system serving seniors and is committed to innovative approaches to supporting seniors in a caring community where they can thrive.

Land Acknowledgement

Covenant Foundation respectfully acknowledges that our central office and several foundation-supported Covenant sites are located on Treaty 6 territory and Region 4 of the Métis Nation of Alberta, a traditional land and gathering place of diverse Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway/Saulteaux/Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others. Our foundation also supports Covenant sites all across Alberta on Treaty 4, 6 and 7 territories, as well as Regions 2, 3 and 4 of the Métis Nation of Alberta. We honour and respect the people whose histories, languages and cultures have been here for thousands of years and continue to influence our vibrant community. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us.
