A New Chapter of Care in La Crete
On September 22, 2025, Covenant Health officially assumed operations of the La Crete Community Health Centre and Continuing Care Centre, a milestone moment for the community of La Crete and Mackenzie County. To mark the occasion, community members, healthcare teams and leaders gathered for a day of celebration that included a sign unveiling ceremony and a lively community BBQ with staff, families and neighbours and words from key speakers including our President and CEO Lisa Munro. The event reflected the warmth and spirit of La Crete, with people coming together to welcome this new chapter in local health care.
Covenant Foundation President and CEO, Lisa Munro, shared her gratitude during the event, recognizing healthcare teams, community leaders and families for their partnership:

The transition of the La Crete Community Health Centre and Continuing Care Centre represents a commitment to elevated, compassionate care and the power of collaboration between health providers, foundations, and the community.
