let's celebrate every moment ✨
Aging can be filled with challenges like loneliness, declining health and the fear of being forgotten. That’s why Seniors’ Month is so important. It shines a light on the value of every senior, reminding them that they are seen, cherished and never alone.
Through the generosity of our donors, Covenant Foundation helps enhance seniors' care across Covenant sites in Alberta. We raise funds for specialized programs, state-of-the-art equipment and enhanced care spaces that bring comfort, companionship and joy to seniors and families.
This Seniors’ Month, we’re celebrating the simple yet meaningful moments with the seniors we love: a shared laugh, a familiar song, a visit from family, a hand to hold.
This June, we invite you to join us in celebrating our seniors who continue to inspire our communities and touch our lives.

WELCOME TO OUR DIGITAL GARDEN OF GRATITUDE
A growing collection of photos, memories and messages celebrating the seniors we love
Celebrating my parents who are thriving in retirement: doing what they love, staying active, and loving life as grandparents 💛
His love and the way she felt so safe with him are clear in this moment. He adored her, and she adored him right back. We lost him suddenly just a few years later, but I’m so grateful she has memories like this to hold onto, and that his love will always be part of her story.
This is me and my 91-year-old Baba.🤍 She is so caring, thoughtful, and considerate of others I can only hope to grow up to be just like her… and maybe one day make perogies as good as hers!
Grandpa Walter always made time to sit and colour with us, and we tried so hard to shade our colouring books just like him. It really was about the time he gave us, the patience he had, and the way he made each of us feel important just by sitting beside him. Here he is years later, still colouring… but this time with my kids. We were lucky to share a couple more birthdays after this.
My grandma spent a few wonderful years at St. Teresa’s in Calgary. As dementia progressed, we watched her slowly drift further away. Conversations became harder. Recognition faded. It’s a quiet kind of heartbreak. But then there were these small, unexpected moments. She would sit with my daughter, playing and laughing, completely at ease. In those moments, there was no confusion. Just connection. Just love.
