The Covenant Cup

The Covenant Cup is Covenant Foundation’s signature annual golf tournament where philanthropy meets friendly competition. Each year, the event gathers over a hundred golfers including community members, corporate partners and health care champions who are united by a shared commitment to health care.

Join us on September 9, 2026 at The Quarry, where sweeping river valley views create the perfect backdrop for a day filled with friendly competition, meaningful connections and community spirit. Enjoy 18 holes on a premier championship course, followed by delicious food, an exclusive auction and the chance to help elevate the health care experience for thousands of patients and families across Alberta.

Proceeds from the tournament support vital priorities across Covenant sites, including seniors’ health and wellbeing, mental health and addictions, rural health, palliative care, women’s and children’s health, and spiritual care.

More than just a day on the green, the Covenant Cup is a celebration of gratitude and impact. Every swing helps bring innovation to Covenant facilities across Alberta.

On September 10 at The Quarry Golf and Country Club, golfers, sponsors and supporters came together for an incredible day! We welcomed 144 golfers and raised more than $140,000 for Covenant hospitals and continuing care sites across Alberta.

Because of your participation, we raised vital funds to elevate health care at the hospitals and continuing care sites we support across Alberta. Your contributions help ensure patients, residents and their families receive the best care possible.

Mental Health & Addictions

With one in five Albertan’s affected by mental illness, your generosity transforms lives. From purpose-built facilities like the Misericordia Community Hospital ER’s mental health unit to specialized programs at Villa Caritas, you help provide dignity, hope and life-changing care to those experiencing mental illness and addiction.  

Rural Health

Rural Albertans face unique barriers to timely medical care. Your support brings care closer to home by funding mobile simulation training, telehealth programs and local innovations. These initiatives reduce medical transfers, cut costs, and keep families together during challenging times – all improving outcomes. 

Palliative Care

In life’s most difficult moments, compassion and comfort are essential. Your generosity fuels programs like the Palliative Institute and in-home care initiatives, delivering holistic, dignified support for patients and their families. From pain management to emotional care, you bring relief when it’s needed most, relieving pain, stress and symptoms during life’s most challenging moments. 

Women's and Children's Health

Advancing health care for women and children means saving lives today and shaping healthier futures. Your contributions close critical gaps in areas like maternity, breast cancer care and heart health. For children, your support ensures access to neonatal care to life-changing programs for vulnerable youth facing food insecurity, violence or mental illness. 

Spirituality & Mission

Healing is about more than the physical – it's about your heart and soul.  With your help, we provide multi-faith spiritual care, end-of-life support and Indigenous initiatives like the Misericordia Healing Garden. Together, we nurture dignity, inclusion and a sense of belonging for all.
