About:

Now open, the Covenant Community Health Centre is the first phase of the new Covenant Wellness Community in southeast Edmonton. This innovative facility is designed to bring a wide range of outpatient clinics and health services together in one accessible, community-based location — making it easier for people to get the care they need closer to home.

By transferring a number of clinics from the Grey Nuns Community Hospital to the Covenant Community Health Centre will help relieve pressure on the busy acute-care hospital.

The Family Health Clinic at the Covenant Community Health Centre is set to open in early 2026.

Services at Covenant Community Health Centre:

Day programs (e.g. the Community Geriatric Psychiatry Program for seniors & families)
Diabetes clinic — education, assessment, treatment, insulin support, follow-up
Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) clinic — consultations, urgent assessments, post-operative follow-up, minor procedures
Heart Clinic / Cardiac rehabilitation
Neurology outpatient clinic
Nutrition counselling
Orthopedics (bone & joint care, by referral)
Pathology
Seniors’ clinic
Stroke clinic / stroke prevention services
Pre-admission (surgery) clinic to prepare patients ahead of surgical care
Women’s health services
